Creation Factories

In this edition, the Creation Factories of Barcelona take over the TNC. Fabra i Coats, Nau Ivanow, El Graner, the Antic Theatre and La Central del Circ will be the spaces to receive the selected companies and the venue where the showcases of the Come & See 2012 will be held in.

Creation Factories bounced into the Catalan cultural scene in 2007 with the aim of increasing the spaces intended to support the cultural creation and  production. The alliance with the Come & See complements their vocation, promoting the internationalization of catalan performing arts.

Fabra i Coats

The Fabra i Coats industrial complex is a nineteenth-century spinning mill (thread and fabric factory) that has been turned into a Creation Factory. With more than 12.000 square meters available to artists and creators, it expects to become the benchmark for new languages​​, transversality and versatility.

Nau Ivanow

Inspiring referrer for the existing network of Creation Factories, Nau Ivanow opened its doors in 1998 as a multifunctional cultural center. During these 14 years of trajectory, Nau Ivanow has become an important stage of cultural activities of different natures such as painting, photography and video art, saving a special and close collaboration with the theatre sector.

Graner

Located in the former industrial site of Philips since 2011, the Graner Factory Building is intended to address the needs of dance professionals, in terms of creation and exhibition. 600 square meters to open a space for dialogue and participation, with dance as a communicative vehicle.

Antic Teatre

Located in the heart of Barcelona, the “Antic Teatre- Espai de Creació” celebrates its 9th anniversary this year. Referrer for the contemporary scene of Barcelona, it ​​offers global resources to companies of performing and visual arts committed to search for new languages, new technologies or new dramas.

La Central del Circ

The Central del Circ aims to provide the circus sector a space for training, testing, development and continuing education, which is taking shape in more professional circus companies. Almost 3000 square meters equipped and prepared to encourage creativity and excellence of the circus performances of the Catalan companies.
